Armenian satellite Hayasat-1 was successfully launched. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia issued a message about this. Minutes after the flight, it separated from the rocket and went into orbit. The next step is to open its antennas and communicate between Earth and space.
Hayasat-1 was created as a result of the joint work of the “Bazomak” Space Research Laboratory of Armenia and the “Center for Innovation and Scientific Education” (CSIE). This satellite rotates around the earth every hour and a half, and when the satellite passes through the airspace of Armenia, the signals sent by the satellite can be received. 12 experts participated in the construction of this satellite.
The launch of Hayasat-1 is another step for the development of space activities and the construction of space equipment in Armenia. This is an important test for international cooperation and engineering talent of Armenia.
