In the framework of the Matanadaran delegation’s trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a picture book “A selection of photos from the Matanadaran collections” by Yvet Tajerian, the senior Matanadaran researcher, was presented at the Vank Church Museum in Isfahan.
Yvette Tagherian noted the contributions of Iranian Armenians, especially Avo Hovhannisian, Joseph Papazian, and Emmanuel Sourogian, which are included in the illustrated book.

In this ceremony, the leader of Isfahan Armenian community, public figures, community representatives were present. Virgin Mirzakhanian, the head of library and public relations of Vank Church, gave a speech.
Ara Khazmalian, the director of Matanadaran, informed about the plans made for cooperation in the field of new exhibitions, additions and restoration of Matanadaran.
Illustrated books were donated to the library and educational and cultural institutions of Jolfa, Isfahan.
