YEREVAN-TOURINFO- Armenian rock scene hadn’t seen such a big gathering of bands for a very, very long time! “Rock Association” initiated “Armenia in Rock” festival on September 27-28, 2019 in Yerevan at Freedom (Azatutyan) Square. All the young and old rockers were gathered to rock the city!
Rock Association in their Facebook page mentioned: “The rock community is uniting! All the young and old rockers are gathering to rock the city! We exist, we are united and we are founding our annual festival with great enthusiasm! We are the masters of our fate, we are the masters of our land, we are the fighters and we are to carry our burden! If you share our ideology, let’s rock together, let’s get charged on September 27-28 at the Opera square!”
The following Groups had performed in event.
“EMPYRAY” rock group founded in 1993. 
“FairWind” band founded in 2007.
“Vostan Hayots”- The group was established in 1986. 
“Clocker”- an alternative rock band from Vanadzor, Armenia.
“Lelocity”- Alternative rock band founded on February 10, 2005.
“Adana Project”- an Armenian symphonic metal band formed in 2014.
“Unaesthetic”- Metal band founded in December 21, 2012.
Rozen Tal (Gyumri)-Founded on 2015, is a son of the mother 60s and father 70s, grown in the womb of classic rock, born in the light of progressive, in the hands of alternative.
“High” is an Armenian prog/folk rock band, formed on January 3 of 2015.
“DOGMA”- an Armenian ethnic progressive rock band created in 2008 in Yerevan .The Classic Rock Magazine describes Dogma’s music as: “Aggressive riffs, ethnic vibes and psychedelic soundscapes all wrapped up with stunning delicate female vocals”.
“New Gray” – an alternative rock band based in Armenia.
“Ayas”- The group was created in 1987.
“Nemra” – an Armenian Alternative rock band from Yerevan, formed in 2012.
“Lav Eli”- a rock band from Vanadzor, Armenia that was formed in 1996.
“Vordan Karmir”- The band was formed in 2005 in Vanadzor.
“Mik Aelian” band was formed in 2016 by guitarist and composer Khoren MikAelian. Since the release of its first album “Injacktion,” the band has been in demand in both local and international music festivals.
“Oaksenham” is an electric and acoustic progressive rock band established in 2001.
“Jag & Bambir” -Bambir is an Armenian rock band from Gyumri. Spanning 4 decades and with more than 50 musicians passing through its ranks, the band has moved into its second generation- as in, sons of the original members are operating as a separate four-piece that is still part of the original ensemble.
