YEREVAN-TOURINFO- Vanadzor, the regional center of Lori, celebrates the day of the city on the last Saturday of October, this year on October 26. The decision to celebrate Vanadzor City Day on the first Saturday of October was made by the administration of Vanadzor – the third largest city in Armenia (after Yerevan and Gyumri) – in 2000.
There were festive events in different parts of the city today. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Representatives of local and provincial authorities, MPs, representatives of sister cities of Vanadzor, EU ambassador, Polish deputy ambassador with spouse, Podolsk deputy mayor, representatives of Pasadena city, German Regen region delegation, ambassadors, government members were among the participants of this celebration. 
The celebration concluded with a big concert show at Hayk Square, which also featured the opening ceremony of singing and dancing fountains with unprecedented powerful acoustic effects in the region co-financed by the Government-Vanadzor Municipality. The celebrations concluded with an amazing fireworks.
