TOURINFO-YEREVAN- For the first time, from February 14 to 19, 2020, the IKA/Culinary Olympics took place parallel to INTERGASTRA (a leading trade fair for the hotel and gastronomy business) in Stuttgart, Germany. International teams of chefs have competed over four days for medals at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. During this time, INTERGASTRA visitors had the opportunity to watch more than 2000 chefs from over 70 countries live as they cooked and prepared around 8000 international menus, and then enjoyed the top-quality dishes from around the world.

According to ARMENPRESS, Armenian pastry chefs have won 6 medals at the Culinary Olympics during the INTERGASTRA International Trade Fair in Stuttgart, Germany.
Pastry Chefs Iskuhi Hambardzumyan, Marine Khalatyan, Karine Harutyunyan, Seda Mazmanyan, and Melanya Simonyan were presenting their work in a single stand.

Iskuhi Hambardzumyan told ARMENPRESS that their team has already won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

“We’ve presented very interesting works made from sugar flowers. Our work gained attention from the very beginning and received appreciation, for which we are very happy”.
