TOURINFO- March 17, 2020- Armenia’s Deputy Minister, Tigran Avinyan who has been appointed as the Commandant of the State of Emergency announced that due to the pandemic situation caused by the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19, Armenia announced a travel ban effective immediately for citizens of 16 countries.
Citizens of The People’s Republic of China, The Islamic Republic of Iran, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom are banned from entering Armenia.
Citizens of Armenia returning from those 16 countries will be quarantined for a 14-day period.
On March 16, 2020, the Armenian government declared a state of emergency until April 14 over the novel coronavirus outbreak.
